Now to finish catching up from January 2020 to now.
In December 2019, we started hearing about a new virus, that was sweeping through China, and how deadly this virus was. As months have passed, this virus has spread throughout the entire world, killing thousands in its wake. It has now been classified as a pandemic. The world we have known has shut down. It is in every country on earth, in the United States we are now in a National State of Emergency. Which means people are to stay in there homes, business’s have shut down. Unless you are considered essential personal, you work from home. Schools have closed, until further notice, so teachers are teaching students online. The only time we go out is when we absolutely have to go to the store to get supplies. I am now teaching my piano students via technology, so they stay home and I call them on a video conference. What a change! People are scared, and on top of all that, just a few days into the quarantine, we had a 5.7 earthquake here in Salt Lake. It woke us up at 7:09 a.m., with the whole house shaking. I have to admit, I haven’t been that scared in a long time.
And now 1 week later even more has happened. The Church is bringing home almost all missionaries that are in foreign lands, because of the Pandemic. Countries are closing there borders, so no one can get in or leave. And just yesterday, The Church announced that for now, all Temples will be closing all over the world........there are prophesies about the last days, the days before Christ returns to the earth, that we are witnessing being fulfilled. The earth will be in commotion, I will take away my word( missionaries returning), I will take away there places of peace( Temples closing). I can’t help but think that the Lord is trying to wake us up out of our comfortable stupors and trying to give us a last chance to repent and return and come unto Him.
I must say, so far 2020, has not been my favorite year!........
But I am very blessed, my family, so far are all well, we only see them through Skype or FaceTime, but I am so grateful for the Technology that allows us to still be a part of there lives as we all have to self quarantine until this pandemic is over.
God is good, I love Him.
